The Delapena Speedhone EA combines the many features of the EM with the additional benefits of automation. The Speedhone EA honing machine is the ideal horizontal solution for high volume, batch production and applications where high stock removal rates are required. However the EA can be used as a manually operated machine for small batches and prototypes.
Fully adjustable spindle speeds, stroking speeds and stone pressure settings can facilitate the smallest mandrel or the greatest rate of stock removal. The Speedhone EA’s “Stone Saver” feature allows operators to override stone expansion speed, via foot pedal, to control expansion rates and make optimum use of the stone.
